‘Blue Vanda – Change Today’ is the Gaming for Good 2013 official theme and all revenue obtained from sales will be donated to Save the Children.

Gaming For Good is a movement of gamers that use gaming platforms and events for activism and charity.

Out of the AtheneLive Fundraising events (such as Sharecraft)a community grew that wanted to consistently focus on activism and charity. With an interactive live-stream and through monthly recurring subscriptions to the AtheneLive Stream, the community continuously supports charity and activist organisations around the world.

Through his stream Athene donates his revenue to Save The Children’s Newborn and Child Survival programs all around the world. These programs focus primarily on training locals in developing and remote regions to become health workers who help prevent child deaths, illnesses and malnourishment.

In 2013 the project Blue Vanda teamed up with the gaming community in the efforts to spread awareness and raise funds for Save the Children through music.
